Another announcement with M1 chip: masOS Big Sur

macOS Big Sur brings a major user interface redesign. It is also the first macOS version to support MACs with ARM-based processors. To mark the transition, the operating system's major version number has been incremented from 10 to 11. This is the seventeenth and current major release of macOS, Apple Inc.'s operating system for Macintosh computers.

Notification Centre

A new design combines notifications and widgets in a single view for more information at a glance. Optimized Battery Charging

Optimized Battery Charging is designed to reduce the wear on your battery and improve its lifespan by ensuring that your Mac notebook is fully charged when unplugged. Optimized Battery Charging learns your daily charging routine and activates only when your Mac predicts that it will be connected to a charger for an extended period of time. Battery usage history displays graphs of battery level and usage for the past 24 hours and the past 10 days.
